ADS Basic. The compact automation solution for small and medium-sized batches of light fittings
With the new generation, BJB presents an improved version of the ADS Basic automatic production machines. These are systems for the automatic wiring and testing of small and medium-sized batches of light fittings. The basic version consists of three elements: the manual workstation, the central wiring station with 6-axis robot and the test station for testing the light fittings in accordance with EN 60598. Depending upon volume of work and production requirements, ADS Basic can be equipped with two or three work trays with variable set-up options. The integrated test system is provided with appropriate test adapters to suit the customer’s production processes. It operates with programmable resistors according to the principle of equivalent load and enables reliable testing to be carried out. The wiring tool has been improved and can now reach even more inaccessible points within the light fitting housing. The wiring robot’s capabilities range from horizontal wiring of push-wire terminals through to vertical wiring. There is now an anti-collision module to prevent damage to the wiring tool. The test data is filed for documentation purposes. There is also the option of connecting a label printer for identification of the light fitting. The ADS Basic is controlled centrally via an intuitive menu-driven user interface. |
