| With 23,000 visitors and 475 exhibitors from all over the world, the Light Fair in New York is the largest fair for architecture and lighting in North America and one of the five most important lighting fairs in the world. This year the focus was on “energy efficiency”. Products which were in particular demand were innovations in the field of LED, although HID and T5 also play an important role in energy-efficient solutions. BJB presented innovations in all three areas. As a cooperation partner to major lamp manufacturers worldwide, BJB presented solutions for all HID innovations. In the field of fluorescent lampholders, G5 and G13 products in particular received a positive response from customers. In cooperation with the US luminaire manufacturer Cooper and Osram Sylvania, BJB also launched the compact fluorescent lamp system “Casa”. This system was developed especially for downlights, which are very important in the American residential lighting market. As well as being presented at the company’s own booth, BJB’s innovations could also be seen at the booths of their cooperation partners in the lamp and lighting industries. BJB has also registered increased interest in the automatic wiring of light fittings among North American customers. A film showing the new ADS system had its premiere at the Light Fair in New York. |
