| Messe Frankfurt, the organiser, describes the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition as the biggest lighting fair in Asia: This year a new record was set with 71801 visitors and 1882 exhibitors from 116 countries presenting their products on an area of 130,000 square metres. The vast majority of exhibitors are from Asian countries. Among the trade and business professionals, the proportion of international visitors has been increasing year by year. Many of those who contacted BJB at the Guangzhou Lighting Exhibition were looking for a competent and reliable partner in the field of LED, the light source of the future. There was great interest in the LED connection systems for the Fortimo Twistable from Philips, which were first presented at Light & Building, as well as the LED modules from Citizen and Toshiba. Trade and industry visitors from all over the world were very enthusiastic about BJB’s robotics innovation: the ADS.one, an ADS system in mini-format. BJB demonstrated the efficiency of the “baby” among the automatic wiring systems by means of a film and presentations and received unanimous applause. The ADS.one is extremely easy to operate and offers light fitting manufacturers the opportunity to change over to automatic wiring with a low level of investment. In spite of the enormous interest in LED all over the world as the technology of the future, visitors also paid attention to innovations in conventional and still very widespread lighting technologies: Visitors to the BJB booth obtained information on new developments such as the Seamless T5 or lampholders for discharge lamps, such as the GU8.5. The fair organisers have announced that they intend to increase the exhibition areas further next year. |
