| The Lighting Fair in Hong Kong reported a record number of exhibitors this year: Almost 2030 exhibitors from 35 countries presented their innovations in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. First and foremost were the new developments in the fields of “LED” and “energy efficiency”. In addition to “retrofit solutions”, i.e. LED light sources with conventional bases such as E 14, E 27, T 8 or T 5, there were also many individual LED solutions on show. It was clear to see that LED technology still has a great deal of scope for further development in the future. Accordingly, there was keen interest in LED connectors from BJB: These enable luminaire manufacturers to exchange LED modules, thereby allowing them to offer their customers products with the latest LED technology. BJB has LED connectors for modules from all major producers in its range; products have been developed in cooperation with many manufacturers including Toshiba, Citizen, Philips, Osram, Nichia and Seoul Semiconductors. However, LED was not the only focus of interest for the professional and trade visitors from around the world: Conventional products are still very much in demand in the lighting industry. |
